HISTORY

This patient is 52 year-old male, who suffered from intermittent chest congestion, dyspnea and exertional dyspnea for over 10 years. He was getting worse, with cyanosis and edema of lower limbs for 3 months preceding admission. He was admitted to Beijing Puhua International Hospital on Sep.26th, 2014.

Medical Condition before Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Due to shortness of breath, he could walk less than ten minutes which affected almost all areas of his life, even simply getting dressed. He had to repeat himself constantly due to difficulties with his speech. Thus, his condition rendered him incapable of doing everyday things such as playing with his children, as well as interfering with his intimate relations for the previous 10 years. The patient was in much grief and distress, and felt dizzy every time when he lifted his head. The patient was recommended by local hospital to undergo heart transplantation surgery.

Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Stem cell implantations for dilated cardiomyopathy  were performed via IV injections. Medical treatment to improve neural function and nutrition & promote cerebral blood flow. He also had diabetes medications, anticoagulation, and other medical therapies.

Medical Condition after Stem Cell Treatment (SCT) for Dilated Cardiomyopathy

Mr. Clarke’s general condition was much improved after the stem cell treatment. He was able to ambulate (walk) one kilometer at a time, and it became easier to speak and do light exercise. His face looked healthier, and without cyanosis. His dizziness was much diminished. Obviously, he has decided against cardiac transplant surgery in light of his positive outcome from stem cell therapy for heart failure.
