Medical condition before Stem Cell Treatment for Muscular Dystrophy
Before Stem Cell Treatment for his Muscular Dystrophy, hypertrophy and hardening was noted in his lower limbs. Deformity was noted in both ankles. Muscular tension was reduced in four limbs. Muscle strength was decreased.
Stem Cell Treatment for Muscular Dystrophy
Injections of neural stem cells and mesenchymal stem cell, self cell activation and proliferation therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and rehabilitation therapy (physical therapy and occupational therapy)
Medical condition after Stem Cell Treatment for Muscular Dystrophy
After 3 weeks inpatient treatment, his general condition has improved. Muscle strength of four limbs and trunk has been significantly improved. His trunk supporting time was obviously longer in sitting and standing position. He can balance himself without support. Range of activity and strength in shoulders are improved. Active muscular movements are noted in bilateral hips. Internal and external movement as well as forward movement could be achieved when body bent at hips and knees. Hypertrophy of legs has also improved which becomes softer than before.
Ayoub’s mother and uncle were very glad to see his improvement: before he could not sit by himself, he could not use his fingers well. After the treatment he can sit stable, and can use hands for counting numbers. We are expecting this lovely boy can get more and more improvement in the future.
