HISTORY

In November 2006, Patient Bernard Verbaan and his family began to be aware of his shuffling and dragging gait. As time went by, he started to suffer tremors in his right hand and began to have difficulty in writing. His walking became slower and his speech was negatively affected.

Patient Bernard Verbaan had frequent urination and constipation. He couldn’t walk properly with his shuffling gait, and this was very difficult for him. He had developed poor coordination.

His low, indistinct voice made it difficult for him to communicate with others.

Muscle tone of his right leg was elevated. He presented with an unsteady gait and tremors.
